Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Barrmin account and the data associated with it. Barrmin is operated by the Barrmin developer team.

1. Delete your account from inside the app

The quickest way to delete your account:

• Open the Barrmin app.
• Go to the Settings tab.
• Scroll to Delete account and confirm.

Your account and associated data are removed immediately when you confirm.

2. Delete your account by email

If you can no longer access the app, email coachbarrmin@gmail.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify your request and delete your account within 30 days.

3. What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your account and sign-in credentials
• Your profile (display name, avatar, email address)
• Your sessions, drink logs, routes and check-ins
• Your photos, quotes, comments and reactions
• Your friends list and pending friend requests
• Your notifications, blocks and moderation records

4. What may be kept, and for how long

• Anonymised, aggregate data that does not identify you (for example, total check-in counts for a venue) may be retained.
• Content shared into a group session hosted by another user may remain visible to that group, with your name removed.
• Backups are purged on a rolling basis and any residual copies of your data are removed within 30 days.
• Records we are required to keep by law are retained only as long as legally necessary.

5. Delete some of your data without deleting your account

You can delete individual sessions, photos and other content from within the app without deleting your whole account.
